Samosir Island


Samosir is the name of an island located in the middle of Lake Toba, North Sumatra, which is also the largest lake in Southeast Asia. Towards Access Samosir
There are four access can be selected to reach the island. Three access through Lake Toba, and the access by road. But access to the most popular is through Ajibata Ports in the Port Tomok Prapat in Samosir. By using this access, you need to board the ferry. Travel across Lake Toba would be great because along the way you will be treated to views of the lake and the beautiful and green hills around. The fresh air will make you become imperceptible. Waterway access to the other is through Tigaras-Simanindo and Muara-Nainggolan. Just like Ajibata-Tomok Tigaras-majors ferry departs daily Simanindo.
